doTerra Bergamot Essential Oil also known as Citrus bergamia.  Bergamot is found throughout the Mediterranean and is a tropical citrus fruit from Citrus Bergenia plant. It has a similar color to lime and yellowish depending on ripeness.  Bergamot has a very distinct fragrance and flavor; the essential oils are extracted from the rind.  This fruit is not sweet like the orange as a matter of fact it is not eaten fresh, however, it is a good source of vitamin C, potassium, vitamins B1, B2, and A. bergamot oil have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

In Europe, the flesh and zest of the Bergamot are used as a flavoring in cookies, custards, marmalades, syrups, and cocktails and of course, this is one of the main ingredients of Earl Grey Tea.

Ways to blend Bergamot

Bergamot oils is normally  found in skincare.  Bergamot orange oils can also be  used in massages. It is also used as a stress reducer.  This oil  is used in perfumery.

Bergamot has a frequency of 105Mhz, where  a healthy human frequency is around 62-78 MHz,  diseases starts when the frequency drops to 58.MHz.  Bergamot can be used to help raise the frequency depending on what is wrong with the individual

 

How to use Bergamot doTerra Essential Oils

Diffusion: It is best to use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Internal use: Try Dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid.

Topical use: Try applying one to two drops to the desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

Cautions

It is best not to use Bergamot at least two weeks before surgey,it might interfere with blood sugar control.  When it comes to Diabetes, Bergamot can  cause blood sugar levels to go to low, one must check sugar closely.

As noted by doTerra caution must be taken with Bergamot.  Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying the product.
